Remember, remember…all in November!

This November we’ll be busier than Guy Fawkes was in 1605, although hopefully with a little more success! It’s a busy month for Library Conferences and 2CQR will be attending the ones listed below to demonstrate the latest innovations, and established favourites in RFID and EM.


Library Association Ireland Conference. 7th-9th November

The Public Libraries’ Section 2012 conference will take place at the Seafield Hotel, Gorey, County Wexford. The theme is: Books are for Life: chapter 2


Learning Resources Conference. 8th November

Discovering New Horizons in the Digital Landscape at the Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester. The event is organised by the JISC Regional Support Centres (North West and Yorkshire & Humber).


CILIP 8th RFID Conference.15th November

The Bloomsbury Hotel 16 – 22 Great Russell Street
WC1B 3NN is the venue for this conference headed: Local, national and international – how RFID is changing.

2CQR are also nominated for the RFID Innovations award with the winner to be announced at this conference.


SLIC Further Education Libraries Conference 29th November

The conference will explore the implications for library services of regionalisation, investigate the Scottish information literacy community of practice, host some shared service case studies from around the UK, take a look at mobile technology developments and discuss the findings of the SLIC FE Libraries survey. #SLICFE12
