In what is normally a busy time for academic installations 2CQR have also seen sales activity increase this summer.
“ We are seeing interest across all library sectors, in all areas of the UK and Ireland and for all types of products and services” quotes Gavin Bennett, Consultant at 2CQR.
Recent projects for public libraries include custom-finished RFID self-service units across five libraries in South Dublin and people flow management systems for the National Library of Scotland.
In academic libraries 2CQR have won tenders for colleges, universities and academies. These vary from major installations of RFID self-service and security at the University of Exeter, Richard Huish College and Preston’s College, EM security at St David’s College to the supply of a PopUp Library and security for UCFB at Wembley stadium.
Gavin explains “ It appears our philosophy of working with librarians to produce products that compliment their needs and our ability to provide realistic and thought through solutions is understood and appreciated “
