(RFID) offers the potential to combine security, management and operation in a single tag attached to your stock items. 2CQR were one of the first companies to recognise the potential of this exciting new technology and harness its power for library security systems.

(EM) security works in tandem with similarly equipped library management systems (LMS) to provide simple detection using magnetised strips (often called “tattle-tape”) to prevent theft. These are still the most common and well established solutions in both retail and libraries and 2CQR have a range of products to suit all budgets.

For libraries that want to gain the benefits of (RFID) but who may have a significant legacy of (EM) stock 2CQR offer a range of “Hybrid” solutions that will detect active items using both technologies.
